A Web Log about Halloween from A Phantom Tire Buyer with a Secret Identity
Halloween is one of my favorite evenings of the year. I love to sit out on the front porch of the lair and hand out healthy treats to all the little ones dressed in their creative outfits. But last Halloween I had an experience that stands out among all the rest.
“Trick or Treat!”
I looked up from my latest issue of “Tire Business” and what do I see but a smaller version of myself!
“So am I,” exclaimed the young boy.
“So, you’re dressed up as me?”
“I guess so. Bummer!”
“Dad said if I dressed up as a Phantom Tire Buyer, that no one else would ever be wearing that same costume.”
“Oh, I see. And here I am.”
“Right. Anyway, what are our secret super powers?”
“Can we jump really high, or beat up bad guys?”
“Well, we can see through the claims of Tire Discounters competitors.”
“We can often tell if a vehicle may be out of alignment by checking the tires’ treadwear.”
“Oh great. I’m sure Wonder Woman will be soooo impressed. I gotta go. Boy. I’m kinda disappointed.”
“Would this apple cheer you up?”
“You’re giving out apples?”
“Not just apples. I have other fruit.”
“Man, I need to have a talk with Dad.”
